That time always comes! At some point we feel the irrepressible need to change our look and change hair color. But the fear of using the wrong product and finding ourselves with stressed, weakened and brittle hair often holds us back. Are there natural and effective solutions to get blonde and healthy hair? The answer is yes! If you are ready to experiment with them, we show you the most effective natural methods to lighten, brighten and invigorate your hair!
Henna
Over the years, the word henna has almost morphed into a synonym for natural, organic and safe. But it is rare to hear of henna for blonde hair. The difference from “traditional” henna is the different amount of lawsonia inermis to which other plants and spices (such as chamomile, for example) are added to reflect already light hair. Or with the addition of ginger, saffron, lemon or turmeric, which give darker hair warmer and brighter reflections.
Honey
When it is said that bees are indispensable allies of man, it is impossible to think that this is not true. And from today you will have one more reason to believe it! Have you ever tried to use honey to nourish and lighten your hair by two tones? To make the honey less sticky, mix it with a very small amount of conditioner. Apply it on the lengths and leave it on for about an hour. Rinse with warm water and voilà , you will have healthy and naturally more blond hair.
Lemon juice
Lemon juice has been known since the dawn of time as a hair lightener. The women of the fourteenth century used a combination of lemon and … sun! After the pack, they were put in the sun to make their hair lighter even more. It is one of the most effective natural bleaches and is also rich in vitamins, calcium, copper and magnesium. If used in moderation (because it is still an acid) it will give you healthy and bleached hair.
Beer
First rule: the beer must be degassed. You can use the forgotten open beer in the fridge or degass a freshly opened beer by pouring it several times. Wash your hair regularly with your favorite shampoo. Comb them well and apply a beer pack on all lengths. If you have very long hair, immerse them directly for at least 10 minutes (the longer the exposure / immersion time, the more evident the results will be). Rinse well, detangle your hair with conditioner or a hydrating mask and you will have a fabulous color!
Ginger and turmeric
In a cup of water, add a tablespoon of turmeric and pieces of ginger. Let it sit for about an hour and then apply it over the entire length of the hair. It will certainly not make dark hair blonde, but it will give a lot of light to brown and blond hair (also helping to eliminate dandruff!). A tip: if you don’t want to have too radical a contrast between before and after, don’t leave the mixture on for too long. Twenty minutes will be enough.
Wheat germ oil
Wheat germ oil is a real boon for the hair. Helps eliminate split ends, nourishes the skin and makes hair shiny and shiny, especially in the sun! You will have beautiful, healthy hair with super natural highlights.
Chamomile
Heat the water and soak the chamomile flowers. Leave them soaked until the water has cooled down. Then add two drops of lemon juice and apply the compress to the hair. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse. You will lighten your hair by at least two tones, obtaining unique reflections.
Olive oil
If you have particularly oily skin, an olive oil pack is not the right natural solution for you. But if not, you will get healthy, nourished hair with clear and shiny reflections.
Cinnamon
You can use ground cinnamon commonly found in the supermarket. 2 tablespoons of cinnamon mixed with conditioner or olive oil (to be avoided if you have oily skin). Apply the mixture to your hair and leave it on for at least an hour. You will get a natural color with warm and coppery reflections.
